Spiel mit einer echten Quanten-Katze!

Tauche mit der App "Katze Q - ein Quanten-Adventure" in die verrückte Quantenwelt ein und löse spannende Rätsel. Entdecke dabei mit deinem Smartphone oder Tablet ein digitales Spiel, das seit Oktober 2021 schon 100.000 mal heruntergeladen wurde!

Mit Schrödingers Katze schuf der Physiker Erwin Schrödinger 1935 ein Sinnbild für den Grundsatz der Quantenmechanik: Objekte können sich zur gleichen Zeit in unterschiedlichen, sich eigentlich gegenseitig ausschließenden Zuständen befinden. Seltsam, oder?


Heute erforschen im Würzburg-Dresdner Exzellenzcluster ct.qmat – Komplexität und Topologie in Quantenmaterialien mehr als 270 Wissenschaftler:innen aus 34 Ländern die exotischen Eigenschaften von Quantenmaterialien. Gelingt es, diese besonderen Phänomene unter Alltagsbedingungen nutzbar zu machen, wird das die Basis für revolutionäre Quantenchips und völlig neuartige technische Anwendungen sein.

Teresa (Doktorandin Physik), Maria (Doktorandin Chemie) & Katharina (Koordinatorin & Astrophysikerin) erklären dir, was Quantenphysik mit Katzen zu tun hat, warum sie Physik studiert haben oder nach dem Studium in der Physik gelandet sind und beantworten alle deine Fragen.
