CT.QMAT26 is the third international conference of the Cluster of Excellence ctd.qmat on emerging quantum phenomena resulting from topological physics and its interplay with many-body interactions in diverse quantum matter settings, from topological electron materials to quantum spin systems and photonics. It will be taking place in the city of Dresden, Germany.

In Zwickau we will meet and talk about your projects.

A Century of Quantum Mechanics – Time for a Female Perspective!

Our temporal exhibition will be on display at the Closing Event for the Quantum Year 2025 in Münster on November 15, 2025.

Ever wondered what tomorrow’s computers will be made of? Or what hurricanes and donuts could possibly have to do with quantum physics? Get ready to have your mind blown by the researchers from ct.qmat at the Lange Nacht der (Quanten-) Physik in Würzburg

Junior and senior cluster-affiliated scientists will meet in Erfurt for three days of scientific exchange and networking.

A Century of Quantum Mechanics – Time for a Female Perspective!

Our temporal exhibition will be on display at the 27th German Conference of Women in Physics in Kiel from Sptember 18 to 20, 2025.

A Century of Quantum Mechanics – Time for a Female Perspective!

Our temporal exhibition will be on display at EXPERIMINTA in Fankfurt am Main from September 17 to October 19, 2025.

A Century of Quantum Mechanics – Time for a Female Perspective!

Our temporal exhibition will be on display at the 2nd DPG Fall Meeting in Göttingen from September 8 to 12, 2025.

At the heart of the Grete Hermann Network's mission is the goal to promote excellent female-led research and support the recruitment and careers of female scientists. In this spirit, we invite you to join a diverse audience of condensed matter physicists (male and female) with broad research interests and of all career levels for a three-day workshop at the Julius-Maximilians-Universität Würzburg.

A Century of Quantum Mechanics – Time for a Female Perspective!

Our temporal exhibition will be on display at the 15^th European Conference on Atoms Molecules and Photons in Innsbruck from June 30 to July 4, 2025.

Grete Hermann was ahead of her time: as early as the 1930s, she critically examined key arguments against hidden variables in quantum mechanics—decades before the debate was revived by Bell and others. In this talk, Prof. Thomas Filk revisits her groundbreaking analysis and explores its continued relevance today.

A Century of Quantum Mechanics – Time for a Female Perspective!

Our temporal exhibition is on display from 16 April to 15 May 2025 at the Q.UNI – Kinder- und Jugend-Uni (Children's and Youth University) in Münster.
