Thus the Proof Runs in a Circle: Grete Hermann and Her Refutation of No Hidden Variables Arguments

Grete Hermann was ahead of her time: as early as the 1930s, she critically examined key arguments against hidden variables in quantum mechanics—decades before the debate was revived by Bell and others. In this talk, Prof. Thomas Filk revisits her groundbreaking analysis and explores its continued relevance today.
